2008 Graffiti Report

The Near Northwest Management District is excited about its Graffiti Abatement Program. The effort is improving the appearance and security of the District’s commercial and apartment properties.                 

Our Graffiti Mobile allows both power-washing of graffiti and color paint matching to cover it. Our crew must obtain a legal waiver from a private property owner or authorized agent before abating graffiti on their property. (Down-load form below) Please print and fill out the first page of the form and fax or mail it to the District. We’ll ensure that our Graffiti Removal crew visits your property in a timely manner.

The service is offered at no charge to the District’s assessment-paying property owners.

Projects in process include:

290 Highway Expansion information and advocacy meetings, ‘Adopt an Esplanade’ support, District Real Estate Information, District specific development marketing, safety initiatives, additional patrol officers, trespass affidavit support, and grant writing efforts.

Projects under construction:

District Marketing DVD, Community Super Blocks Partnerships, District Street and intersection signs, and co-op advertising and holiday events planning.
